Confirm your email
We send a single-use link. Unconfirmed requests are never shared with businesses.
A person reviews it
We check it’s suitable and create a brief without your name, phone, email, address or anything identifying.
Compare and choose
Up to 3 invited businesses can respond. Choose one for an introduction — or none at all.
What businesses see — and when
- Before you chooseA redacted brief: the work, your suburb, timeframe, budget if you gave one, and photos a moderator has approved (with location data removed).
- After you chooseOnly the business you select, and only once it accepts the introduction and its payment is confirmed, receives your name and contact details.
- NeverOther businesses never receive your details, and nothing is shared automatically if your chosen business declines.

Common questions
How long does it take?
We aim to review requests promptly. Invited businesses have a set window to respond, and you’ll be emailed as responses arrive.
What if the business I choose doesn’t accept?
You’ll be told and can choose another response. We never select or charge another business automatically.
Do you rank the cheapest first?
No. Responses are shown in the order they arrived, with scope, assumptions and availability side by side so you can judge fit, not just price.
Can I contact a business directly instead?
Yes. Many profiles link to the business’s own website. That’s between you and the business — no fees apply.
